Administration & Operation

Administration

The Baytown Nature Center is owned and operated by the City of Baytown. The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the administration and operation of the nature center.

Friends of the Baytown Nature Center is a non-profit organization. It is not connected with or a part of the City of Baytown. The Friends of the BNC work cooperatively in an advisory role with the city staff for the betterment of the Baytown Nature Center.

Staffing

The Baytown Nature Center has a gate attendant located at the Visitor Center building at the entrance to the center. The Baytown Nature Center is administered by the staff at the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center, 1724 Market St. in Baytown.
