Welcome

The Friends of the Baytown Nature Center's website will give you an idea of the recreational opportunities available at Baytown Nature Center.

However the best way to enjoy the fishing piers, birding trails, wildlife blinds, butterfly garden, bicycle paths, playground, kayak launch and other facilities is to visit Baytown Nature Center.

BNC is open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Hours are sunrise to sunset.

Fishing is allowed in designated areas only. Fishing licenses are needed.

Fires are permitted in the metal grills only; each pavilion has a grill.

No pets, including dogs, are allowed.

Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for children (5-12) and seniors (65+). Annual passes are $30 for individuals and $65 for a family (including six adults).

Friends of the Baytown Nature Center invite you to become a part of history!

You can become a unique part of the Avenue of Nature and have a paving stone inscribed with your name or with the name of a person you wish to honor.

The Friends of the Baytown Center include individuals, families, corporations and non-profit groups who believe in the importance of protecting, sustaining and improving the Baytown Nature Center because of its rich historical past and its unique wildlife habitat.
